The PPA participated in World Physiotherapy Day 2019.
World Physiotherapy Day took place on the 8th September and the theme of the day was Physiotherapy and Chronic Pain.
The PPA got involved in a Physiotalk tweet chat that was fast and furious for those that took part, and involved a number of physiotherapists working in a range of areas. The transcript is available through the report on the event.
The PPA were also visible on a Twitter on the day itself, promoting the role of physiotherapy in pain management.

Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to the PPA committee and has already provided ways in which we can better serve experts by experience. Chris will be joining the PPA stand at Physiotherapy UK, so please come along to find out more about the PPA and our vision for the future.
The PPA was delighted that the WCPT chose physiotherapy and chronic pain as the theme of this year’s World Physiotherapy Day. It brought welcome attention to this area.
