2013 – the CSP's digital year in numbers

We've mined the data archives to give you a feel for the scale of the CSP's digital communications activity in 2013.

In an average month in 2013...

110,468 people made 170,422 visits to the CSP website and looked at 669,629 pages.

That's 26,500 more people per month than in 2012

CSP members

89.3% of members had an active site account. That's after we culled 5,000 accounts that hadn't been used for two years.

On average, 31.7% of members logged in at least once a month

94.0% of account holders had completed their membership profile

Member opinion

73% of members rated the usefulness of the CSP's website and online communications as high

Content

We published 1,857 items of CSP content

Networking

We have125 interactiveCSP networks, plus three countries, ten English regions and 17 professional network sites

300 facilitators manage our online networks. We trained 85 of them in 2013

Members and staff posted 18,418 pieces of content across the networks - that's 10% up on 2012

Search

The most popular things people searched for on the CSP site

People made 152,517 searches for practices on Physio2u

Physiotherapy news - the weekly CSP bulletin

We emailed 45,454 members with the final issue of the year

We recorded that an average of 27.7% opened each email but there are some that we couldn't track
