PPA Introductory Course: Psychologically informed approaches to assessment and management of pain

A two-day course run by the Physiotherapy Pain Association in collaboration with Pain Training and Education

This course introduces the theory and evidence base for cognitive and behavioural approaches to pain management. The biopsychosocial assessment of musculoskeletal pain is linked to individualised treatment planning and there is emphasis on practical skills development.

This course is suitable for physiotherapists aiming to enhance their knowledge and develop skills in psychologically informed physiotherapy practice.

The course is relevant for physiotherapists working in outpatient departments, pain services and private practice.

"Reservation is a contract. Cancellations must be made in writing and will be subject to a 10% administration charge. 

No refunds will be made for cancellations notified within seven days of the event, but substitute delegates will be accepted at any time."
